Okay, so imagine Fast & Furious but set in high school—with a killer soundtrack, suspicious dads, dusty secrets, and enough teen angst to fuel a drag race. That’s Motorheads on Amazon Prime. Created by John A. Norris, this 10-episode ride dropped May 20, 2025, and let me tell you—I wasn’t ready.
We’ve got Ryan Phillippe (yes, him!) as a grumpy ex-NASCAR dad, Nathalie Kelley as the hot mom/nurse with secrets, and Michael Cimino as Zac, the city boy stuck in a rural town with too many muscle cars and not enough therapy. His twin sister Caitlyn, played by Melissa Collazo, is the literal car girl of my dreams. Throw in Uriah Shelton as Curtis (aka the grease-stained flirt) and Nicolas Cantu as Marcel (our cinnamon roll) and we’ve got ourselves a crew.

It’s like High School Musical: Underground Drift Edition, and I LOVED every second. Biker boy meets car girl? Immediate wattpad vibes. And yes, the soundtrack is suspiciously similar to my Spotify playlist (thanks, Amazon gods).
Zac and Harris racing like their lives depend on it? Iconic. That first scene when I realized their dads raced each other in the past? Gasp. Michael Cimino has officially entered his “Ferris wheel with love interest” era—again. It’s weird it’s happened twice, but who’s complaining? Not me.
Also, the chemistry? Whew. Zac and Harris have more spark in one race scene than half the actual couples on this show. I’m begging for more Kiara and Caitlin scenes too. We’ve only scratched the surface there.
The mystery around Logan and the money, the older generation drama, and the whole Christian situation? There’s definitely more to uncover. Spider Lake, here we come.
Bottom line: I watched 10 episodes in one day and I regret nothing. Amazon, don’t play with my heart. We NEED Season 2 🥺❤️🔥
