XO, Kitty (Season 2) Short Review
🥳 Team Kitty and Minho all the way! The drama, the love triangles, and the endless twists kept me hooked this season. While it sometimes felt like “drama for drama’s sake,” it was the perfect guilty pleasure to unwind with after a long day. Kitty and Minho are EVERYTHING. Please, please, please, let Minho be Kitty’s endgame in season 3! 🫣💪🏼
This series remains the ultimate guilty pleasure, and season 2 continues to prove why it’s so binge-worthy. Kitty’s journey is filled with ups and downs, and it’s hard not to root for her as she navigates her romantic life and personal growth. Kitty’s evolution from the younger sister to an independent woman is inspiring, and Minho’s presence just adds to the drama and intrigue. The chemistry between them is undeniable and continues to be one of the best parts of the show.

While the series provides some entertaining moments and catchy lines, I did feel that some of the drama in season 2 was a bit forced. It’s clear that the writers wanted to build tension, but at times it felt like too much was being added for the sake of keeping the audience engaged. Despite this, the show still pulls you in, especially when it shifts to more heartfelt moments.
One thing that stood out to me in season 2 was the playful interactions between Kitty and Minho. Their dynamic is so enjoyable to watch, and it’s hard not to compare their relationship to the classic “will-they-won’t-they” pairings in rom-coms. Kitty’s slightly annoying at times (I mean, seriously, who interrupts a couple in the middle of an intense moment? 😠), but Minho’s charm and their shared history make them the ultimate couple.
The show balances the drama with sweet moments, like the sister reunion, which was such an emotional and rewarding scene. While season 2 had its predictable and exaggerated moments, it ended on a high note. It’s the kind of series that you watch for pure enjoyment, and you can’t help but smile while doing it. Here’s hoping that season 3 brings the closure we all need, especially when it comes to Kitty and Minho’s future!
