Daredevil: Born Again Quotes + Short Review

Charlie Cox is back as Matt Murdock in Daredevil: Born Again, and let me tell you—this is the revival we’ve been waiting for! This continuation of the Netflix series brings Matt face-to-face with tragedy, forcing him to question if New York even needs Daredevil anymore.

Meanwhile, Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) is playing a new game—he’s done with the thug life and aiming for the mayor’s seat. But come on, we all know that’s not gonna be good for anyone except himself.

Daredevil: Born Again Short Review

OMFG!!! I cannot believe we’re getting 9 whole episodes of this! Finally, a proper TV season and not just a movie split into six parts. Even if this doesn’t outshine the original, it’s still gonna be the best thing on Disney+. Charlie Cox owns this role, and honestly? He could play Daredevil forever as long as Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin is right there with him.

Daredevil: Born Again trio, Elden Henson, Charlie Cox, and Deborah Ann Woll in Daredevil: Born Again (2025)

The new cast is stacked, and yeah, it sucks some older faces aren’t here, but you won’t even have time to dwell on that. Marvel TV finally delivers on its big promise. The behind-the-scenes drama? If that’s what it takes to get something this good, then I’ll allow it. This season doesn’t drag like the Netflix ones did—every episode earns its place. There’s only one that feels different (episode 5 is more of a bottle episode), but it gets dropped alongside episode 6, making it all click together.

There are a few moments where the CGI is a little 🤨, and Kingpin being sidelined early on felt a bit hmm, but trust me—his arc justifies it. Is this the best the MCU has been? Maybe! I’m sick of people saying “Marvel is back” every time they drop something good, but Born Again makes me wanna scream it too. I hate that we have to wait a year for season 2. That’s how good this is.

Daredevil: Born Again Quotes

Daredevil: Born Again is packed with sharp dialogue, intense threats, and classic Matt Murdock wit. From Fisk’s menacing political speeches to Matt’s inner struggles, these lines are classic. Here are some of the best quotes from the season.

“You’re a real man of the people now.” —Matt Murdock

Matt confronts Fisk about his rising public image. The man went from being Kingpin to playing the role of a beloved figure in NYC. Matt sees right through him, though.

Matt lets Fisk know—he’s not naive. He wants to believe in change, but he also believes in consequences. Fisk better not test him.
