A stop-motion movie by Tim Burton in Wednesday? My girl was two seconds away from the biggest breakdown and crash out known to history just for it to be a silly prank! It’s been three years for just eight more episodes? I am so annoyed! But damn, that’s got to be one of the most visually stunning scenes I’ve seen on Wednesday. Tim Burton, the man you are!
Anyway, it’s a great kickoff point for the new season. The whole family is more involved, and that’s the best! The principal is shady, obviously. He has an obsession with the outcasts, and I’m pretty sure he was either kicked off the school when he was young or just never allowed in.
My Rant: The Addams Family is Back, but Where is the Marketing?!
My girl was two seconds away from the biggest breakdown and crash out known to history, just for it to be a silly prank! Enid and Wednesday spending time finding each other gifts over the summer… oh, “Wenclair” is so back! The show just doesn’t know when to quit, and I love that about it.
I’m also obsessed with Morticia Addams’s outfits. Her fashion sense is impeccable, she looks so good. I’m also pretty sure that the woman that Wednesday freed is her aunt Ophelia. Christopher Lloyd, who was Uncle Fester in the ’90s movies, also has a cameo, which is a great nod to the old-school fans.

The way I gasped during this scene… thank God Enid saved Thing. I can’t imagine watching Wednesday without Thing.

Most Powerful Quotes from Wednesday Season 2
The show is full of great lines that are sarcastic, dark, and perfectly in character. Here are some of the best quotes from the new season.
“I have FOBI – the fear of being included.”
Wednesday says this in a moment of pure, deadpan humor. This line perfectly captures her personality and her total disregard for social norms.

“Do not put me on a pedestal because I will burn it down.”
This quote shows us that Wednesday is not interested in being a hero. She’s a lone wolf, and she’s not going to let anyone change that.

“I’ve always dreamed of looking death in the face, but in my final moments, all I hear is my mother’s words ringing in my ears.”
Wednesday says this in a voiceover as she bleeds out. It’s a beautifully dark and emotional line that shows her struggle to accept her mother’s wisdom.

“Maybe I have made everything worse. Much worse.”
This line shows us that Wednesday is finally starting to question her own actions. It’s a rare moment of vulnerability from a character who is usually so sure of herself.

“Of all the women I’ve ever used, you’re my favorite…”
This quote from one of the men on the show is a great one that really stood out. It perfectly captures the dark and cynical humor of the show.

Why These Quotes Land So Hard
Wednesday Season 2 is being called a massive improvement over the first season, with fans praising the darker tone and focus on the Addams family. Jenna Ortega’s portrayal of Wednesday continues to win praise, and her chemistry with the returning cast members is getting special attention. The show has a more mature and darker feel, and it’s full of great visuals and music. For example, the use of R.E.M.’s “Losing My Religion” and The Cranberries’ “Zombie” (in a piano cover) was a stroke of genius.

The show is a celebration of the unique and the strange, and it’s a must-watch for anyone who loves dark humor and supernatural mysteries. If you like shows that are both creepy and kooky, you might also like my take on the quotes from The Sandman or the chaos in The Hunting Wives.
Final Rant & Call to Action
The way I gasped during this scene. Thank God Enid saved Thing… I can’t imagine watching Wednesday without Thing. And, yeah, Wednesday, I hate to say this but your mother was completely right. Poor Enid has no idea she’s the reason for this chaos. What a mess! But I loved every minute of it.
Finally, we got the whole Addams family! Now we just need Cousin Itt.
