Daysis Salvador recorded video of her husband being handcuffed and taken away by ICE agents after his immigration hearing on his asylum claim in Downtown Miami on June 16th, and shared the footage on social media. Last October, she posted a photo to Facebook with text and a caption that read: “Prepare to Vote…Trump 2024 🇺🇸🇺🇸”
In the footage she posted to social media, she’s heard crying: “Injustice! He is no criminal he has rights in this country!”
Salvador claims it was a coordinated effort where multiple men on a list were taken into custody after each of their immigration cases were apparently dismissed.

Salvador told a Telemundo reporter outside the court:
“My husband was unjustly detained. They don’t care if you have an asylum claim, they don’t care about anything. It’s so disrespectful, to this country, to this society. People who are truly useful in this country, who are paying taxes, who never committed any crimes, who don’t have traffic infractions, nothing. This is all horrible.”
And to the “political authorities who are watching,” she begs: “Please, please, please help us!”
