Donald Trump once threw a party for “young women” at Mar-a-Lago where the only other attendee was the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, according to a detailed New York Times report.
Despite campaign promises, the former president has so far declined to release all documents related to Epstein’s case, a refusal drawing renewed criticism.
The story, titled “Inside the Long Friendship Between Trump and Epstein,” outlines a social history that spanned nearly 15 years, with the two men frequently seen together in Manhattan and Palm Beach before eventually parting ways—just before Epstein’s first arrest.
One disturbing anecdote stands out: a so-called “calendar girl competition” hosted by Trump at his Florida resort, where Epstein was reportedly the sole invited guest.
The party was allegedly arranged by Florida businessman George Houraney, who expressed surprise at the setup. “I said, ‘Donald, this was supposed to be a party with VIPs,’” Houraney recalled to the Times in a 2019 interview. “You’re telling me it’s just you and Epstein?”
Calls for transparency are intensifying. Critics are urging Trump to release all records related to his past ties with Epstein, who was found dead in his jail cell in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.
The article follows closely behind another explosive exposé from The Wall Street Journal, which revealed what it described as a birthday album Epstein received for his 50th—featuring a cartoon and handwritten message allegedly from Trump. Trump has denied authorship of the note and illustration, and has since filed a $10 billion lawsuit against NewsCorp, Rupert Murdoch, WSJ, and two of its reporters, accusing them of defamation.
Meanwhile, former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi filed a legal motion on Friday seeking to unseal grand jury transcripts tied to the Epstein case in New York—further adding pressure on Trump and his inner circle as questions about the extent of his past association with Epstein continue to surface.
