Thunderbolts* (2025) Quotes & Our Take

Okay. So Marvel said “trauma team-up?” and made it iconic. From the first scene—it’s like boom! Death trap. Desperation. People already bleeding emotionally and physically. And THEN it gets worse. Or better. Depending on how much you love pain and dysfunctional family dynamics (I do 💀). The cast chemistry is so off the charts, they might as well have been roommates in therapy.

Yelena is the soul. Bucky’s the broken compass. Bob is the heart. Ghost, Taskmaster, and even Val—all got their own quiet, loud, and tragic flavors. It’s not just action—it’s grief in spandex. And somehow it still made me laugh, cry, cheer, scream “NOOO” when someone got voided. Like Marvel remembered how to do stakes.

No flashy saviors. Just messy people doing their best, breaking stuff, and occasionally hugging each other at the edge of collapse. “You’re not alone” hits harder when it comes from someone who’s been alone too long.

Also, that post-credit scene?? 👀 OH WE ARE SO BACK.

Thunderbolts* (2025) Short Review

Marvel’s back with heart, pain, and humor. Thunderbolts* takes risks, embraces trauma, and gives us a team we never knew we needed. It’s raw, messy, and full of love in all the wrong places—and we wouldn’t want it any other way. The best MCU movie since Endgame. No cap. 💥

Bucky’s quiet moment with Bob. A reminder that healing doesn’t always mean curing. Sometimes it just means not giving up.

Ghost mid-breakdown. Not a line. A wound. Delivered in silence before she phases out, leaving everyone—and us—shattered.

“You were never the monster. You just got used to playing one.”

Yelena to Taskmaster. One of those Marvel lines. The kind that sneaks into your chest and stays.

“I’m here. You’re not alone.”

Yelena, arms wrapped around Bob, the most emotionally broken tank Marvel’s ever given us. Hug heard ’round the fandom.

“The void doesn’t kill you. It empties you until you beg it to.”

The villain. Cold. Chilling. Delivered like a whisper and a slap.

“You think I made it out clean? No one walks away from this clean.”

Bucky mid-fight, bloodied and furious. 10/10 delivery. 100/10 internal screaming.

“We’re not heroes. We’re survivors. That has to be enough.”

Final mission moment. Every line said in this scene deserves a mural. They knew what they were doing.
