An earlier video featuring Kanye West, now known as Ye, sharply criticizing Jay Z and Pusha T has begun circulating again online after both artists were mentioned in the latest release of documents connected to Jeffrey Epstein.
The resurfaced clip gained renewed attention following the Justice Department’s disclosure on Friday of additional Epstein-related materials. Jay Z’s name appears in the newly released records tied to the long-running investigation. (Getty Images via AFP)
Importantly, neither Jay Z nor Pusha T is listed in Epstein’s personal flight logs or address books. Instead, their names appear in FBI call records from 2019. One complaint referencing Jay Z described a scenario in which a woman alleged that she “later awoke in the presence of Harvey Weinstein and Shawn Carter (Jay-Z) while Weinstein had inserted his fingers…”.
In material related to Pusha T, the allegation stated that the individual “…believed she was drugged, clouding her memory. attributed the drugging as frequently performed by persons assigned as handlers, whom she described as persons who established friendships with the victims. Among her handlers, identified the artist Pusha T.”
Against that backdrop, Ye’s older video comments have been recirculated with fresh commentary. “Ye is never wrong—just early,” wrote the user who reposted the clip.

Now their names just popped up in the new Epstein files. Ye is never wrong—just early. 👀 pic.twitter.com/IQPr0HTyYo
In the video, Ye is heard saying, “You take people like Jay-Z and Pusha T. They made their living killing our people, so how the f**k they gonna stand up?…you think they’d ever tell the truth? No, if they told the truth they’d go to jail.”
He continued, “Liars are now the face of our culture,” as he railed against the two artists. The exact date the footage was recorded and the circumstances surrounding it remain unclear.
Despite the renewed attention, Ye has not addressed the resurfaced video or the Epstein document references. Other artists, however, have weighed in. Rapper 50 Cent, known both for his music and for producing a documentary on Sean “Diddy” Combs, appeared to take a jab on social media.
In an Instagram post, Curtis James Jackson III joked about expanding his documentary work, writing, “Damn they got ya man jay in the Epstein files, I gotta do a doc on this…,” a remark that quickly spread across platforms.
As the Epstein files continue to draw scrutiny, the renewed focus on past statements and celebrity reactions underscores how previously forgotten clips and comments can take on new significance when placed alongside fresh disclosures.
