One of America’s nuclear-powered aircraft carriers, branded “the largest warship in the world”, had been targeted by four ballistic missiles today (March 1).
Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed it has carried out a successful attack on the US aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln as it issued a further threat to the US, calling them terrorist aggressors. However, US Central Command have since said that the claims are not true and the Abraham Lincoln remains operational.

Unclear if any of them hit.
It comes as US Central Command has also confirmed three people have been killed and several injured during Operation Epic Fury, but it has not been confirmed how they died.
The IRGC earlier said: “The US aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln was struck by four ballistic missiles.”

They also warned that the “the land and sea will increasingly become the graveyard of the terrorist aggressors.”
US Central Command said IRGC claims to have struck USS Abraham Lincoln with ballistic missiles are a “LIE”.
The post continues: “The Lincoln was not hit. The missiles launched didn’t even come close. The Lincoln continues to launch aircraft in support of CENTCOM’s relentless campaign to defend the American people by eliminating threats from the Iranian regime.”

US Central Command has also tragically confirmed three people have been killed during Operation Epic Fury action carried out today (March 1).
In a post on X, they said: “Three U.S. service members have been killed in action and five are seriously wounded as part of Operation Epic Fury.
“Several others sustained minor shrapnel injuries and concussions — and are in the process of being returned to duty. Major combat operations continue and our response effort is ongoing.
“The situation is fluid, so out of respect for the families, we will withhold additional information, including the identities of our fallen warriors, until 24 hours after next of kin have been notified.”
