Marjorie Taylor Greene, a loyal Maga supporter and longtime Republican figure, said on Saturday that she had recently been approached by private security companies “with warnings for my safety”. Her comments followed Trump’s announcement on Friday that he was pulling back his endorsement and support for the Georgia lawmaker.
“A hotbed of threats against me is being fueled and egged on by the most powerful man in the world”, Greene wrote in her post, choosing not to name Trump directly, and adding that it was “the man I supported and helped get elected”.
Greene argued that the “aggressive rhetoric attacking me has historically led to death threats and multiple convictions of men who were radicalised by the same type of rhetoric being directed at me right now. This time by the President of the United States.” She did not identify any specific threats she says were relayed to her by the security firms.

The man I supported and helped get elected.
Aggressive rhetoric attacking me has historically…
“As a woman, I take threats from men seriously. I now have a small understanding of the fear and pressure the women, who are victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his cabal, must feel,” she wrote.
In a later update on X, Greene shared a chart showing the rise in average grocery prices, calling it “the ultimate warning to all of my Republican colleagues” and tying the worsening cost-of-living struggles to the upcoming congressional vote on releasing additional Epstein files next week. “You vote NO on Tuesday to release the Epstein files and face severe outrage from America,” she cautioned. “Republicans don’t have support from women, and this right here is a perfect example of why,” she added.
The escalating dispute has placed Greene in a direct confrontation with Trump, largely over the push to release government-held documents connected to Jeffrey Epstein, a move Greene has strongly backed. Trump fired back on social media: “Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Green is a disgrace to our GREAT REPUBLICAN PARTY!” A day after ending his support, he mocked her as “Wacky Marjorie” and said he would endorse a challenger in her next midterm race “if the right person runs”.
Their clash, building quietly for months, intensified after Greene split with Trump on several issues, including U.S. military aid to Israel, the government shutdown, and the ongoing battle over the “Epstein files”.

These rifts prompted Trump to accuse her of drifting “Far Left”, saying she had become a constant critic of the MAGA line. Trump wrote that what he had seen from her lately was “COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN!” and added: “I can’t take a ranting Lunatic’s call every day.”
Greene replied by insisting she had backed Trump “with too much of my precious time, too much of my own money, and fought harder for him even when almost all other Republicans turned their back and denounced him”. She emphasized, “I don’t worship or serve Donald Trump.” As their feud plays out publicly, Greene continues to warn that growing hostility is raising alarms about her personal safety.
