Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene’s boyfriend lashed out at the MAGA base on Saturday after supporters turned on the Georgia Republican over her latest television appearance.
The backlash erupted following Greene’s appearance on Real Time With Bill Maher on Friday, Oct. 31, where she suggested that “forgotten” Americans should “overthrow” the government. The segment drew praise from Trump critics who viewed Greene as being unusually critical of her own party and the administration’s direction.
But many in the MAGA movement were furious about her decision to appear on a mainstream liberal program.
One prominent “America First” influencer known as Spitfire wrote, “MTG is making the rounds to all the leftist shows.” The user added, “The View is up next.”
That prompted a fiery response from Brian Glenn — Greene’s boyfriend and the Chief White House Correspondent for the conservative Real America’s Voice network.
“I cannot believe the insanity coming from the MAGA base because MTG goes on with ‘liberal based media outlets.’ FOX News and everyone and their mother has interviewed Sen. Fetterman the last few days,” Glenn said. “Where’s the outrage on that? Everyone just dog piles on whatever is socially acceptable.”
He continued, “It’s such bulls––.”
“Where were you when Charlie Kirk went on with Bill Maher? Deep down inside you know you’re really wrong but you’re too insecure to admit it because you get your validation on social media,” Glenn concluded.
