Trump melts down after Time magazine cover makes his famous hair disappear

President Trump was apparently wide awake in the middle of the night — and upset — over how Time Magazine portrayed him on its latest cover.

“Time Magazine wrote a relatively good story about me, but the picture may be the Worst of All Time. They ‘disappeared’ my hair, and then had something floating on top of my head that looked like a floating crown, but an extremely small one. Really weird!” the president wrote at 1:36 a.m. on Monday, reacting to the magazine’s flattering cover story titled “His Triumph.”

The cover features a dramatic close-up shot of Trump from a low angle, the sun glowing directly behind him — an image that, ironically, highlights his thinning blond hair even more. The story itself was a positive one, centered on the peace deal that saw the release of Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners, hailed as a major diplomatic success.

“I never liked taking pictures from underneath angles, but this is a super bad picture, and deserves to be called out,” Trump continued. “What are they doing, and why?”

It’s classic Trump — fixating on his appearance even when the coverage is otherwise complimentary. The Time piece lauded his Middle East peace negotiations, calling them a “potential signature achievement” of his second term. But rather than bask in the praise, Trump zeroed in on the photo — because, apparently, it didn’t capture his “good side.”

The irony, of course, is that the photo really isn’t that bad. It’s quintessential Trump: the sunburst, the golden hue, the ever-present hair swirl. Yet true to form, he managed to turn a flattering headline into another late-night complaint about aesthetics.
